Our Game

Our game is very close to being finished now. Once the barriers are finished we will be pretty much done unless we decide to add more sounds to our game. We might add an engine sound for our car and we also might add some music to make our game a little more exciting and upbeat. It feels good to know we are almost done with this project.

Adding Animation

The levels now scroll down as you are driving the car up the road and the bottles also scroll down the screen. We just need to make the score work and add some final touches to the game to make sure that everything works correctly. Our game is almost finished now. It really cool to see our game finally coming together.

Game Progress 4-16-10

We were able to make our car move using the control keys. We have been making great progress. Basically everything is drawn now. We just have to add sound, make the background move, and code the obstacles.

Game Progress

The main screen, instructions screen, level 1, and level 2 are now finsihed. The buttons for the instructions screen and to play are also working now. We now need to add sound, make the background scroll, code the obstacles, and make the car move. I knew that it would be hard to make the game and it was very hard at first, but I am now beginning to understand all of this much better and it is quickly becoming much easier for me to be able to do what I need to do in our game.
